One of the first things you will notice as you enter the Cathedral is the "Altar de Perdón" ("Altar of Pardon") in the Chapel of Forgiveness (also called the Chapel of Our Poisoned Lord).). Here you will see a crucifix called "El Seior del Veneno" ("The Poisoned Lord").The Veracruz Cathedral, dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption, is located in the historic center of the city of Veracruz, Mexico.
