What preventing you regen in my opinion is parking brake light malfunction, ywhen you set the brakes you have to see that little red "P" on your dashboard. The regen system is confused, I think. A parked regen as you saw in the video is a very common maintenance step just to keep the DPF (diesel particulate filter) clean. The DPF is a bundle of channels that capture soot and eventually (in a perfect world) turns it to ash that gets ejected into the atmosphere. That being said a lot of times it does not work out that way.The engine temperature must reach a certain range to initiate the parked exhaust filter cleaning. At a minimum you need to do a parked regen. With the engine running push and hold the parked regen switch until the engine starts high revving. The regen can take as long as 45 minutes. Your gelled fuel caused a partial fuel burn which soot clogged your DPF. If that doesn't work the DPF will have to be removed and baked to burn the soot out.
