I have used nose pillows since 2017, I think that is the best CPAP mask there is. I'm not sure what you mean by "loud breathing" I make sure there is a good seal and breathe normally. The only time I hear loud noises is if air is escaping. I am a side sleeper but the nose pillows are just a effective for me while on my back as well.
