Just a quick update, for future reference, the issue with my wife's Rogue as posted above WAS the brake light switch. Got it squared away at Crossroads Nissan of Hickory, NC this morning. Total cost for parts and labor was $163.50.Most alignment shops won't do this. If the steering angle sensor is way off, the VDC light will stay on and the system will not work at all.
